Irish Rail appeal to owner of lost dog being minded at Heuston Station, Dublin

Irish Rail has reached out to the public in an attempt to reunite a lost dog with its owner.

The company asked the public to spread the word after the puppy was found on a train on Wednesday morning.

The dog was found on the 8.46am service from Sallins, Co Kildare to Heuston Station in Dublin.

Irish Rail tweeted: "Anyone lost their dog? We have this little fella in Heuston.

Man who was jailed for animal cruelty ran fake dog rescue service to expand evil operation  

"He was found on the 08:46 Sallins - Heuston. Help us find the owner."

The pup was then pictured having a nap at the train station.

Irish Rail added: "Our Lost Dog is sleeping soundly in Heuston right now but we're still hoping to reunite him with his owner. Please retweet."
