Irish punter turns €1 into over €36,000 from incredible bet

An Irish punter turned €1 into over €36,000 from an incredible bet on a virtual horse race.

The Dubliner placed a €1 tricast bet in a BoyleSports shop on Monday evening.

It meant the punter tried to predict which virtual horses would come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at Boyle Ascot.

And when Shoemaker, Moo Cow and Triumph went back the winning post in the right order a huge jackpot was landed.

The customer left the shop with an extra €36,986.16 as the Monday blues were truly wiped away.

Boylesports' Lawrence Lyons said: “We offer our Dublin customer sincere congratulations for starting the week by taking only a few minutes to land the riches.

"There was no better way to get rid of that Monday feeling than landing such an incredible amount from a modest €1 bet, so fair play.”
