Irish pubs: Where to get pints and watch the All-Ireland final this weekend

The All-Ireland final is on the horizon and with it comes one of the best atmospheres you can experience.

Yes, we would have hoped Dublin would be in it so we could take it home for a seventh year in a row, but that is sadly not the case.

Regardless, the All-Ireland final is a highlight of the year for many a GAA fan and anyone who just loves to soak up that match day atmosphere, so here are seven pubs to go to watch the match.

Sinnot’s, King Street

Sinnot’s has become well-known for its great atmosphere on match days. At the end of the bar there is a massive screen for the match as well as other TVs placed around the venue. As well as this, the pints are good and the food is even better, with plenty of bar food options for you to pick away at while you watch the final.

The Living Room, Cathal Brugha Street

One of Dublin’s most beloved beer gardens comes alive on match days, so we’re buzzing to experience the atmosphere when Tyrone take on Mayo. If you're a fan of a cocktail, then this is a great shout.

Woolshed, Parnell Street

The Woolshed Baa and Grill (yes, that is spelled correctly), shows all kinds of sport that draws in a diverse crowd to experience a great atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful drinks. The same should be expected for the final this Saturday.

Trinity Bar and Venue, Dame Street

If you find yourself on the south side of the Liffey and want to catch the match, make sure to head into Trinity Bar and Venue where you will also get mouth-watering food like wings, steak, fish and chips and beef Guinness pie. What else would you want to be munching on when watching the GAA?

The Bleeding Horse, Camden Street

Dating back to the 17th Century, this traditional pub in the heart of Dublin's bustling south inner city makes for some great pint-drinking on any day. But when it comes to an All-Ireland final, you can be guaranteed all the craic that comes with it and of course, unreal food like their Jameson Burger, Steak Sandwich and Hot Fire Chicken Burger.

The Back Page, Phibsborough

If you're a fan of pizza with your pint, then this is the place to be. The Back Page has become mega popular for their pizza menu, including quirkily named entries such as the Sonia O'Sullivan, Katie Taylor and Aiden O'Shea. You would probably guess from those names that this place is big into their sport and you would be correct, as they show all of the big matches including the All-Ireland final.

The Camden, Camden Street

Described as "Dublin's premium sports bar", The Camden is home to a massive 4k screen, making this an unmatched game-viewing experience. It is expected to be busy, so booking a table ahead of time is recommended!
