The CEO of the Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) has called on the government to "start the process of lifting all restrictions for hospitality businesses."
Earlier this month, indoor hospitality returned as some pubs and restaurants opened their doors for the first time in almost 500 days.
Despite the boost for indoor hospitality, various restrictions are still in place with regards to capacity, occupancy, social distancing protocols and vaccine status.
However, in a post that was shared online, Adrian Cummins said: "Government must start the process of lifting all restrictions for Hospitality Businesses Vaccine Bonus?"
Mr Cummins also made reference to HSE chief Paul Reid, who said that 90% of adults will be partially vaccinated by this weekend. 80% will be fully vaccinated., hence the mention of the vaccine bonus.
Speaking on Friday at the HSE press conference, Mr Reid said: "The vaccination campaign is definitely in its final leg of a programme that has been delivered safely, at pace and with massive buy-in from the Irish population.
"We've now over three million people fully vaccinated here in Ireland. By this weekend, 90% of adults will be partially vaccinated and 80% of adults will be fully vaccinated."
"From today, people aged 12 to 15 can register online to be vaccinated and many of these will be administered this weekend and many will have already received appointments to be vaccinated.
"By mid-morning, over 42,000 children of ages 12 to 15 have been registered on the online system. This will be the last of the age groups for which we open registration during this campaign and that's a remarkable position that we now find ourselves in.
"All of the evidence demonstrates huge benefits to date which is clearly demonstrated in reduced illness, reduced hospitalizations reduced ICU numbers and the fact that it has also saved lives."
