With certain lockdown measures lifting and zero deaths reported by Nphet on Monday night, a sense of optimism has been prevalent in Ireland as the country begins to open up.
From next week, more freedoms will be given to the public when all remaining retail reopens and on June 2, accommodation services (hotels, B&Bs, self-catering and hostels can reopen but services must be restricted to overnight guests and residents.
While every lifted restriction is valuable and significant. the decision to resume outdoor services will be a massive benefit to people that want a meal or a drink.
From June 7, outdoor services can resume with groups limited to six people.
However, during an interview with RTE News, Dr Holohan was asked about the likelihood of indoor services resuming in the near future.

The CMO said it's important "not get ahead" of the current climate.
"We need to keep up a good standard of compliance with the public health measures that remain in place and not get ahead of ourselves in terms of taking on things that we're not yet ready for, like indoor activities and meeting up in large groups indoors.
"I think people are very familiar at this stage with exactly what kinds of things are possible and not possible. If people get too far ahead of where we are, it'll begin to put at risk further progress in terms of easing of measures," said Holohan.
On a more optimistic note, the CMO said that he "wouldn't rule out" crowds at outdoor concerts and sporting events this summer but "two things to happen, we need disease to continue to either stay at this level or drop. And we also need to see our vaccination rates continuing to grow."
Elsewhere, Leo Varadkar said that indoor dining at pubs and restaurants could return in July - as long as cases remain stable.

Mr Varadkar said he was confident that, if Ireland can keep the virus under control, pubs and restaurants will be able to return for outdoor dining on June 7, in line with the government's roadmap.
The Tànaise also said that indoor dining could follow a month later, with the Fine Gael leader predicting a summer similar to 2020.
Varadkar told Newstalk Breakfast: "I would tend to look to the small number of countries ahead of us in the vaccine programme, places like the UK or Israel for example, and if things work out there, if there isn't a resurgence of the virus then I think we can be confident that we will have outdoor hospitality from June 7 as planned, and from July we'll be able to go to indoor dining.
"I think you'll see a summer similar to the one we had last year, not normal but with indoor dining, pretty much all businesses open, gatherings of a certain size being allowed both indoors and outdoors."
