Irish pubs, restaurants: Popular Dublin takeaway shut down after alleged horror attack on two young girl workers

One Dublin takeaway was forced to close suddenly on Sunday night after an alleged horror attack by vile customers on staff.

The One Asian Kitchen at The Square in Tallaght confirmed they had to shut down last night just after 9pm due to an "unexpected emergency".

But Dublin Live understands that two of the takeaway's employees, two young girls, were assaulted by customers on the premises last night.

The restaurant released a statement on their Facebook page apologising for the sudden closure.

They said: "Due to an unexpected emergency in The One Asian Kitchen, it is necessary to shut down the service temporarily tonight to accommodate the situation.

"We will not be able to take your order and serve you with food.

"We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause you. Thanks you for your understanding."

A source told Dublin Live: "Two of the takeaway's workers were attacked by customers last night in a horror incident.

"The pair are only young girls and are said to be extremely shaken following the attack."

Dublin Live has contacted the takeaway and Gardai for comment.
