Irish pubs: Mystery Dublin woman going viral after being picked up on CCTV on quiet city street

A mystery figure is going viral online after being picked up on CCTV on a quiet Dublin city street over the weekend.

The woman - coined Dublin's 'Dancing Queen' - was caught rotten on cameras making some questionable moves on Sunday night.

Popular Dublin pub Lemon & Duke on the Royal Hibernian Way noticed the dancer while checking their cameras just before half 9 last night.

Posting the clip on their Twitter page, the bar and restaurant said: "So Duke Lane has a new 'Dancing Queen' Person. Enjoy."

And it's not the first time that someone has been spotted strutting their stuff in Dublin with not another sinner in sight during the pandemic.

At the start of August, the Temple Bar webcam picked up a dancer in the dead of night putting on the moves.

The person was captured on the eerily quiet street in a video taken from the cam near the normally popular but now empty tourist spot.

The footage was uploaded on Facebook by well-known Paul Stenson, the owner and manager of the popular White Moose Cafe and Charleville Lodge Hotel.

He has become notorious for his tongue in cheek antics on social media so it was no surprise that he was the one that discovered the webcam clip which has racked up nearly 100,000 views on his page in its first three days.

He told his followers: "Temple Bar was so quiet tonight until the webcam picked up some lunatic doing the catwalk."
