A legendary Dublin city pub is getting a well-needed transformation as the owners have promised to reopen very soon.
The staff at O’Reilly’s Bar in Dublin 2 have been busy painting and decorating the popular venue over the past few months.
The pub, located just under Tara Street DART Station, was built between three 170 year old candlelit arches, the venue provides the ultimate after-work unwinding pint, or the perfect spot for a few drinks with friends on a night out.
They have yet to open in 2021 after closing their doors back in December 2020.
The pub posted on Facebook: “Our team is hard at work behind the scenes here at O'Reilly's Bar painting and decorating, adding and subtracting new touches here and there throughout the bar.
“We are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new back here to O’ Reilly’s in the not so distant future.
“Please keep an eye on our socials over the next few weeks for updates”.
Back in June the pub wished everyone in the hospitality industry the very best of luck re-opening.
They said: “We are still waiting for a few factors to decide if we ourselves will open for outdoor dining or if we will wait until indoor dining returns in four weeks time.
“We will be posting regular updates on our socials, but please be rest assured that O’Reilly's Bar and Club will be back bigger and better than before and that we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“From all of the team down down here at O'Reilly's on Tara St - Sláinte agus Go n-éirí leat.”
