Finally we have some good news regarding the Dublin pub scene as one popular northside haunt has announced it will finally reopen after months in darkness.
The Raheny Inn has set a date of September 9 after having their doors closed for over 170 days confirming they will not bow down to the cruel and ongoing pandemic.
The watering hole has teamed up with the nearby Four Star Pizza joint who will be providing food to the thirsty punters during their short but enjoyable stay at the pub.
And just to hammer home the new normal in the pub, they have even released a strict list of 'dos and don'ts' that every single person who walks through the door will abide by if they want a few scoops.
They said: "Ladies and Gents, as we said a few weeks ago, we're down but not out.
"As of next Wednesday, September the 9th, it gives us great pride to announce 'WE'RE BACK!'.
"At that stage, we will have had our doors closed for 177 days so we're really excited to get back to providing you with the quality of service you're used to us providing you with.
"We're proud to announce a partnership with Four Star Pizza, who will be providing our food."
And now, the six yes and two no answers to frequently asked questions the pub has gotten since the news...
- "NO - You don't need to book, WALK-INS only
