A Dublin pub has responded to a hilarious review from a humorous punter who in their own words "summed up the general feeling perfectly" about drinking during current restrictions.
One of very few pubs still open during the Level 3 Lockdown in the capital, Keelings of Donabate has, like many, been struggling to keep their head above water during these difficult times.
But they were able to see the funny side of life still after receiving the thoughts of one regular who is getting used to the new normal.
It looked like it was going to be a negative review at the start before it took a strange and unexpected twist.
The thirsty drinker told the publican: "I was in the pub, well a beer garden, I was looking in the window to the pub.
"My ass cheeks shook with the cold. I had three pints of Guinness, I felt like we were on Everest it was that cold.
The punter continues: "There was fifteen allowed in the beer garden.
"We all braved the elements together and we are now technically family.
"I was rattled, it was bitter...would I do it again? ahhhhhh yeahhhhh it's the most Irish I've felt in yonks!"
Posting it on their social media account, the pub joked: "We love reviews from our great customers but this one takes the biscuit. It sums up the general feeling perfectly."
