The Government have provided clarity on whether people should be wearing masks in a pub or restaurant as Ireland's reopening continues.
Saturday night saw thousands of people across the island celebrate the lifting of many Covid-19 restrictions.
Among them were the dreaded 8pm curfew on hospitality, as well as the requirement for table services and the 'rule of six' which required people to split into pods if unvaccinated.
But there was still some confusion over the weekend about masks - and who should be wearing them.
Thankfully, the people in charge have already laid it out in black and white for us.
Do I have to wear a mask in the pub?
Mask wearing IS still required in the following settings:
Situations where you are still required to wear a mask
- public transport, taxis and at stations/airports/ports
- retail premises (including shopping centres, libraries, cinemas, theatres, museums, post offices, banks), public offices and at premises providing specified services and businesses (incl. salons, hairdressers, travel agents, laundries, dry cleaners, bookmakers)
- customer facing roles in premises where food and beverages are sold for consumption on the premises
What that means is that you do not have to wear a mask in a restaurant or a pub unless you are a member of staff.
Of course, you may still wear a mask if you wish.
The Government advise as such, as they add: "People should continue to assess their individual situation. There are ways to reduce risk, especially for those who may be more vulnerable"
