It can take a while to master how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness, especially for non-trained bar workers.
But there isn't really an excuse for anyone who's been shown how to pour it before, unless the person showing them also didn't know how to do it.
For clarity, here's the official technique from Guinness themselves.
Now, enter an American 'Irish pub' in Pittsburgh.
One of their bartenders took to TikTok recently to show how they poured their beers, including the black stuff.
It's just wrong.
First, bartender Abbey explains: "Traditionally, this takes 4-6 minutes the correct way, but we pour beers every 30 seconds here, we don't have time to do that."
And it's not just a timing issue either.
Ask any bartender around the country how to pour a good Guinness, they'll tell you to tilt the glass before you pull the pump.
Not for Abbey though, who explains: "If you're going to pull a Guinness Nitro at an angle, that defeats the purpose of it being a Nitro beer."
So she goes straight in, no stopping, no letting it settle to get the nice bit of creamy head on top.
And some people were absolutely horrified.
"I'm Irish. This is painful to watch," read one comment.
"You've proved you don't have the time (or bother to take the time) to do it the correct way with the Guinness," added a second.
"So much wrong here. Too little head on the first pour, tap touching the beer, Guinness takes 120 seconds not six minutes and is also started at an angle," raged a third.
Many others noted they were 'crying in Irish.'
Admittedly, it could've been a lot worse.
Take for example, the New Sydney Hotel in Australia, who offer a lovely Guinness pie on paper for $26 (around about €15.90)
Better still, it comes with a side of green beans.
Sounds delicious right?
Here's the problem. It gets served in a pint glass.
