Irish person's 'life-changing' hack for when you're in the shower hailed by internet

An Irish person has been hailed for their 'life-changing' technique to save time while in the shower.

Surprisingly, it isn't a way of preventing that few seconds after you turn it on where you just have to chill in the nip while the water warms up.

No, instead it's at the other end - and it'll help you save a lot of time while drying yourself, as well as keeping your towels fresher for longer.

The whole situation started when a thread was posted on the Ireland reddit page asking people what was the best thing they had been introduced to by a previous partner

We had many revelations, from Terry Pratchett to the concept of medium or rare steak.

But a user by the name of ad_triarios_rediit chipped in with their two cents, urging people to "before you get out if the shower, use your hands to sort of squeezee the water off your body. It does makes a difference."

While a few were confused by the situation, others were fascinated and even tried it themselves.

One said: "Oh my god. I'm going for a shower in a few. Will report back."

Shortly afterwards, they followed up, saying: "reporting back, it's a life changer. Do it."

Another person said: "I taught my ex the same thing, she was amazed. I thought it was normal for everyone"

One asked for a guide to the technique, saying: "To clarify, use your hands to just wipe off excess water in the shower? Dang, gotta try this."

They were assisted by a Offaly lady, who replied: "Just use your hands and a bit of pressure to wipe excess water off your body."
