Irish people share hilarious reactions after Supermac's customer served by 'Jesus Christ'

Irish people have been reacting to the "miraculous experience" that one Supermac's customer enjoyed at the fast food chain.

A receipt from the Kiltullagh branch of the beloved takeaway business in Co Galway posted online has garnered hilarious commentary because of one unusual detail.

An image of the bill shows that the customer was recently served by a staff member called 'Jesus Christ'.

The receipt was posted to Reddit where it quickly attracted dozens of brilliant responses.

The picture was captioned: "I know some claim a Supermac's is an almost miraculous experience, I think I know why..."

People have been sharing some delicious puns about the server's less than traditional name.

One person wrote: "Ah yes, the lamb of God."

A second said: "Lettuce pray."

A third added: "You take away the cheese of the world, have mercy on us."

Another person wrote: "Hail Mary, full of snackboxes", to which a Reddit user replied: "The Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst dinners."

One joker wrote: "Holy server, mother of sauce, pray for our dinners now and at the hour of our bed, amen."

Someone else said: "Profit margin on the fish burger gone up significantly. Having licensing issues with the water though."

While another Reddit fan chimed in: "We should call it a taketh away now instead of takeaway."
