People have been left fascinated by a viral TikTok of a group of Irish nuns showing exactly how communion bread is made.
The Red Nuns of Dublin are based in Drumcondra and they live an enclosed life.
That means that they remain within the grounds of monastery, apart from the world, but holding the world in their heart in prayer.
The group are the subject of a new documentary being filmed by Sancta Familia Media in the near future.
And in a series of sneak previews, we got the answer to one of life's more intriguing questions.
First off, we see the wafers being mixed, spread on trays and baked.
What follows that though, is the real highlight - seeing just exactly how the bread is broken up into the little wafers that are handed out to members of the public in their thousands on a weekly basis.
The clip features an almost militant style of working, with a team of nuns taking the baked sheets, loading them into a special machine, taking the sheets back out, filing another one through and so on.
All the while, they're wearing ear protecting headphones as the machines are apparently quite loud.
Combined, the clips have been viewed over three million times, with thousands of comments from intrigued members of the public.
"Nuns have some fun!" added one commenter.
"I haven't been to church in 15 years, how did I end up on Cathoilc TikTok?" asked a second - which earned a classic response of "God works in mysterious ways my friend".
While a third asked "what are they doing with the removed parts? THROWING AWAY THE BODY OF CHRIST?!".
