Irish model Emily MacKeogh pays tribute to tragic fiance Killian Roche after unexpected death in Dubai

Heartbroken model Emily MacKeogh has posted a heartfelt tribute to her fiance after his sudden death in the Middle East.

Killian Roche tragically died after collapsing at a hotel in Dubai on Saturday.

Former Fade Street star Emily paid tribute to her "better half" in a touching online post on Wednesday morning.

She wrote: "You made me the happiest I’ve ever been, every second of every day.

"You were the better half of my whole, my best friend, my rock, the most intelligent, handsome, funny and loving person I have ever met!

"I’m never going to stop loving you and I want everyone to know just how amazing you were.

"We kept it quiet but we moved to Dubai to start our new life together over the weekend and you were taken from us just a few hours after landing.

"We are still trying to get you home and get answers. Our immediate families have flown from all over the world to be here, thank you for all your messages of support.

"Killian was about to start his new role on Monday as Head of Digital for Wavemaker for the Middle East and North Africa. Proud doesn’t even begin to describe.

"He was so loved by all of us and always will be."

The tragedy happened just days after the pair moved to Dubai to start a new life. Killian proposed to Emily last February while they were in Switzerland.

A source told the Irish Mirror: "Killian died on Saturday.

"Emily is absolutely devastated. We are hearing it was either sudden adult death syndrome or a heart attack but the autopsy is being carried out.

"Killian wasn’t unwell, there was nothing wrong with him, it’s such a tragedy."
