Irish Mirror face mask survey: Tell us what you think of the rules and if people are following them

Face masks are now compulsory on public transport and will be in supermarkets very soon.

And here at the Irish Mirror we want to know what you think of the rules and if you think they are being followed.

At the moment the official guidance states: "Face coverings are now required on public transport.

"Face coverings will also be required in shops and shopping centres. Regulations with details on enforcement are in the process of being drafted.

"Wearing a cloth face covering is also recommended in situations where it is difficult to practise social distancing, for example in shops.

"Wearing of cloth face coverings may help prevent people who do not know they have the virus from spreading it to others."

However, even when these rules become law, some supermarkets and shop owners say they will not challenge customers who don't comply.

We would like to know what you think about the rules.

Have you been wearing a mask during lockdown?

Do you think wearing one is the right thing to do?
