Two men have gone viral after staging a fake proposal behind-the-scenes of a live segment on Racing TV.
Racing TV presenters Gary O’Brien and Lisa O’Neill were discussing the latest results at Firehouse in Ireland over the weekend when two jokers decided that it was their time to shine in the background.
The two cheeky chaps, who were dressed to impress for the races, played out a disastrous proposal scene on live TV - and little did they know at the time that their acting skills would go viral.
As presenters Gary and Lisa got stuck into their discussion, behind-the-scenes one of the punters got down on one knee and seemingly held out a ring in front of his stunned pal who placed his hands on his head in complete shock.

Although the man being proposed to seemed elated after he gasped in shock, he made a surprise move afterwards which had Racing TV viewers on the edge of their seats as they watched on on horror.
While the other man was still on one knee, his pal brutally declined the proposal by walking away.
The unfazed cheeky chap walked out of shot, leaving his fake fiancé utterly devastated.
Viewers watched on as the man pulled himself up off his knee as he pretended to be heartbroken by the brutal rejection.

It quickly became obvious that the whole ordeal was an elaborate prank, however, as the man was then joined by a group of beer-holding friends who began to chant and laugh along with the jokers.
While viewers at home witnessed all the carry on, host Gary appeared to have missed the joke.
Following the hilarious acted-out prank, the sports presenter wished the 'engaged' couple all the luck in the world.
"I think these two guys behind us are getting married," he said to his co-presenter, Lisa.

"Wish them well for the future Lisa, I'm sure they're going to be very happy together," he added.
The hilarious clip has since gone viral, with people from all over hailing the jokers as 'legends'.
"This is the best thing I've seen all year. You simply can't beat the Irish humour," one Twitter user enthused.

"Live TV gold. Props to these guys for keeping straight faces all throughout," another echoed.
"I nearly wet myself from laughing at this. Comedy gold," someone else wrote.
Meanwhile, a fourth Racing TV viewer shared: "Gary really missed that joke. Bless him. These men are legends."
