Irish Lotto results: Dublin's biggest winners ahead of tonight's mammoth €9.5 million jackpot

Tonight's lotto draw will be for a whopping €9.5 million having not been won for the last number of weeks.

So, no better time than to gander back at Dublin's biggest lotto winners to see just how much they've won.

It shouldn't come as a surprise but Dublin has more lotto millionaires than any other county with over 500 since lotto launched back in 1988.

But how much have some of those Dublin winners won?

€16.3 Million - Saturday, 23rd October 2010

The third biggest winner in Lotto history hails from Dublin and in winning, the man became the Lottos 400th millionaire.

He decided to stay anonymous to claim his prize but did reveal to the Irish national lottery that he chose the numbers himself, paying €30 for a quick pick ticket from Donnybrook Fair in Dublin 4.

€175 Million - Tuesday, 19th February 2019

A family syndicate from Dublin won Dublin and Irelands largest ever Euromillions jackpot on February 19, 2019. A super draw on February 1st, pushed the jackpot past €120 million until it was finally won by the syndicate.

The family decided to stay private and the winning ticket was bought in Reilly's Daybreak in the Naul.

To keep the winning ticket safe, the family kept the ticket in an Argos catalogue under the stairs until they handed it over to lotto officials.

€93 Million - Tuesday, 25th June 2013

The Euromillions jackpot was a total of €187 million and was one of the largest jackpots in Euromillions history. There were two winners, one from Belgium and one from Beaumont in North Dublin.

The winner was instantly made one of Ireland's 100 richest people and he/she decided to stay anonymous.

€88 Million - Tuesday, 24th January 2017

Another Dublin syndicate ended 7 consecutive rollovers in 2017 to claim the €88 million prize. The winning ticket was bought in an Applegreen petrol station on the M1 northbound in Lusk, north county Dublin.

€86 Million - Friday, 19th September 2014

Once again, a Dublin syndicate won over €86 million after purchasing the winning ticket in Centra in Ballybrack and like previous winners, the syndicate decided to stay anonymous.
