A Dublin punter came agonisingly close to winning Wednesday night's massive €14 million lotto prize.
This would have been the highest jackpot in over 10 years.
The northside player was just one number off but managed to land themselves a cool €145,405 in the draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw in the Circle K Service Station on the Main Street in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The winning numbers for last night’s (8th September) draw were: 01, 05, 18, 22, 32, 45 and the bonus was 38.
The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or claims@lottery.ie.
Sadly there was no winner the €14,203,644 jackpot which is now set to roll to an estimated €15 million.
The current Lotto jackpot has been on an incredible roll for three months now since Wednesday 9th June.
A potential single winner of Saturday night’s life-changing jackpot will become the 6th highest Lotto jackpot winner in the history of the game.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We have officially reached the three-month mark in our current Lotto jackpot roll and excitement is well and truly building for Lotto players all over the country.
"Saturday night’s jackpot is set to roll to an estimated €15 million which will be the highest amount seen in the game for over 10 years.
"The next winner of the Lotto jackpot will be crowned with two titles as 6th Lotto jackpot winner of 2021 as well as the 6th highest jackpot winner since the game began."
