Liverpool and Ireland legend Ronnie Whelan was among those celebrating as Jurgen Klopp's side lifted the Premier League trophy at Anfield last night.
The trophy was hoisted aloft in unfamiliar circumstances as the new champions were crowned in a behind-closed-doors ceremony.
Dubliner Whelan looked to be relishing the club's first title in 30 years as he celebrated with his grandson and son-in-law.
He shared a photo of his family celebrations on Twitter, saying: "30 years waiting but lovely to share it with grandson and son in law."
Former Liverpool and Ireland star John Aldridge paid a poignant tribute to victims of the Hillsborough disaster as he tweeted his reaction to The Reds lifting the trophy.
Aldridge said: "Loved the celebrations so much it’s very appropriate that we got to 96 points tonight and lifted the premier league cup on that note!!
"They will never be forgotten the 96 who suffered at Hillsboro and this team to bring it back to us after so long YNWA."
Following the trophy presentation Reds manager Jurgen Klopp dedicated his side's success to the fans, but urged them to stay safe, promising there would be big celebrations when the time was right to do so.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the German said: "What can I say? If you don't see that we do it for you I can't help you, really.
"Five years ago I asked you to change from doubters to believers. I said the minute before the press conference, I had no idea when they asked it that they would ask it.
"But you did it. You made us happen, really. Thank you very much.

"We all together should celebrate. At home, safe, drink what you want.
"But you have to prepare for a party. I don't know when this bull**** virus will be gone, but then we will have a party, all together.
"Make sure you are ready then. Thank you very much."
