Irish Game of Thrones fans are taking their love of the show to the next level, by giving their daughters the same names as their favourite female characters.
A new report has revealed that there has been a significant increase in the number of Irish babies called Khaleesi, Arya and Yara since the show first aired in 2011.
Much of the epic fantasy series, which is based on George R. R. Martin's books, was filmed in Northern Ireland.
According to the Irish Independent, there have been nine baby Khaleesis, 21 baby Yaras and 82 baby Aryas born in Ireland since the pilot episode, eight years ago.

Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, is known as the Khaleesi in the universe of Game of Thrones, which roughly translates to “queen.”
Yara Greyjoy, played by Gemma Whelan, has had her on screen name increasing in popularity in Ireland.
Another popular character in the show is Arya Stark, who is played by Maisie Williams.
Arya is a common name for both boys and girls in Iran and India.
Perhaps surprisingly, there has been no recordings of baby Daenerys, Sansa, Brienne in Ireland in recent years.
