Irish football fans will able to watch every La Liga match on TV in a a ground-breaking agreement.
The partnership with broadcaster Premier Sports will see all matches screened across multiple platforms in Ireland until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
La Liga has struggled to find a provider of their matches following the cancellation of their previous deal with Eleven Sports last season.
ITV were showing some fixtures, but this latest contract means La Liga will be the first football league to have a channel dedicated to all of its live action.
La Liga President Javier Tebas said: “La Liga is enjoyed across the globe, with an especially passionate fanbase in the UK and Ireland.
"Through our long-term partnership with Premier Sports, we’re happy to give fans of Spanish football a chance to enjoy La Liga’s world-class content in a variety of formats, including via OTT and Premier Sports’ linear TV offering, as well as our own dedicated English-language channel, LaLigaTV.
"We trust that football fans across both these territories will enjoy unprecedented access to the best league in the world.”
Regular Spanish football experts Guillem Balagué, Graham Hunter and Gaizka Mendieta are all set to appear on the channel to offer their insights each week.
From next week there will also be highlights - including the best of the week's goals and saves - airing on free viewing channel FreeSports, while commercial venues will also be able to show the matches.
The first match to be shown as part of the deal will be Friday's clash between Real Mallorca and Athletic Bilbao.
