Irish Eurovision winner Dana celebrates 50th anniversary of infamous win with virtual fan collaboration

Irish Eurovision winner Dana celebrated the 50th anniversary of her win with a virtual singalong with fans.

Dana won the music competition in 1970 with the infamous song 'All kinds of everything' and 56 singers and 10 musicians were given the opportunity to mark the special occassion.

Members of Scór collaborated with Dana virtually to keep safe in lockdown.

In the video, the singers and musicians are seen singing lyrics and harmonies with the star as old photos of Dana from the 70s appeared on screen.

Garreth McGreevey, who took part in the project, told the Irish Mirror: "To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of her Eurovision Song contest win, we joined her virtually as she is currently in lockdown in Australia.

"Making use of so many talented voices and musicians from the lengths and breadths of Ireland, it has been an honour to bring a new dimension to this famous song."

The video posted by the organisers has been dedicated to all healthcare workers across the globe.
