Ireland's Eurovision hopeful Sarah McTernan has had to seek out medical attention in Israel this week after experiencing extreme discomfort in her neck.
The 25-year-old revealed that she has been feeling "fuzzy" and experienced tightness in her neck thanks to a nasty toothache and had to visit a medical centre just days before the second semi-final.
At the medical centre, Sarah was told she has gingivitis - a mild form of gum disease that, if not treated promptly, can lead to tooth loss, RSVP Live reports.
The Clare native told the Sun : “My wisdom teeth need to come out anyway but the last couple of days I have been real headachey.
“My wisdom teeth flare up every now and then but yesterday they got really bad, and the feeling was all down my neck, making it really tight and fuzzy.

“I had a temperature and so I went to the medical centre, and they told me I had gingivitis.”
Sarah was announced as the Irish entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest back in March.
She will compete in the second semi-final in Tel Aviv on Thursday May, 16.
She will perform '22' by Janieck, Marcia “Misha” Sondeijker and Roulsen.

In a previous interview, she told RSVP Live: “It’s like an early birthday present! My 25th birthday is next Monday and if you’d told me last year that I’d be chosen to represent my country at Eurovision, performing the song for the first time on Dancing with the Stars this Sunday, and then flying to Tel Aviv on my birthday to record a postcard, I would have told you - you were crazy!
"My Mom, Nana, family and friends are super excited for me – they’re shocked and very proud. I can’t wait to teach my biggest fan – my 2 ½ year old daughter Mia- all the lyrics to “22”," she said after the news was announced.
