Irish EuroMillions player scoops big prize as hunt for winner narrowed to one county

An Irish player is €500,000 richer after Friday night's EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winning ticket was sold in Cork and the numbers were: 01,14,19,21,38.

There were a further ten winners of the Ireland Only Raffle who all take home €5,000.

There was no winner of the EuroMillions Jackpot which stood at over €50 million. In total, over 55,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.

Other Lotto winners

Two Irish Lotto players came incredibly close to landing Thursday night’s €11,857,358 Lotto jackpot in Longford and Wicklow with both just one number away from the win.

Lotto officials are asking all residents in the Granard area of Longford and in the seaside town of Bray to check their tickets carefully today as the two lucky ticket holders both matched five numbers and the bonus, meaning they will share a prize of €123,846.

The Longford winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at the Londis on Main Street in Granard and won €61,923.

Meanwhile, the lucky Wicklow player secured their winnings after buying a Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at the Centra on Boghall Road in Bray.

The winning numbers for August 25’s Lotto draw were: 01, 21, 28, 30, 43, 45 and the bonus was 02.
