Irish Cup semi-finals and final scheduled for end of July

The Irish Cup is set to be completed behind closed doors at the end of July.

According to the BBC, the semi-finals and final will all be staged at Windsor Park.

The semis will both be played on Monday, July 27 at 4pm and 8pm.

The final will be played on Friday, July 31 with an 8pm kick-off.

Cliftonville will face Glentoran and Ballymena United will play Coleraine, with the order of the semis to be confirmed next week.

There will be no fans at the games, which will be the first to take place since football was suspended here back in March.

The winners of the Irish Cup will earn their place in the Europa League.

If Coleraine win the cup and finish second in the Premiership, then the final European spot will go to the team that finishes third in the top flight.

A mathematical formula is being used to determine the final league positions after the NI Football League season was "curtailed immediately" on Tuesday.

Clubs could know their fate on Wednesday when an independent panel is expected to present its results to NIFL's Board.
