The draw for the first round of the Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup takes place on Thursday.
Thirty-two teams will go into the hat for the draw which kicks-off at 12.30pm.
All the Premiership and Championship clubs will be included, alongside eight qualifiers who made it through the preliminary stages of the blue riband competition.

The draw is being made on Thursday, December 2.

The draw will kick-off at around 12.30pm.
What teams are in the draw?
The draw will include all 24 teams from the NIFL Premiership and Championship, and eight clubs who made it through the qualifying rounds.

The eight qualifying teams are:

- Islandmagee
- Limavady Utd
- Portstewart
- Newington
- Oxford Sunnyside
- Windmill Stars
New sponsor
There will be a new brand name associated with the trophy for the main stages of the Irish Cup.
From the first round this season the competition will now be called the Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup.
Who are they?
According to the Irish FA: "Founded in Belfast in 1830, award-winning Samuel Gelston’s produces some of the finest malt, pot still and blended Irish whiskeys available, and this sponsorship heralds an exciting era in a rich history that will next year see a new Samuel Gelston’s Distillery in Northern Ireland."

The draw is set to be streamed live on the Irish FA’s YouTube channel, and the association’s related social media platforms, at 12.30pm on Thursday.
