Irish comedian Pat Shortt causes stir with rare snap of 'stunning' teen daughter Lily

Legendary Irish funnyman Pat Shortt caused a stir when he shared a rare snap of his "stunning" 19-year-old daughter Lily.

The duo had viewers in stitches as they took part in Kathryn Thomas' No Place Like Home, with Shortt providing a glimpse inside his private life.

In the final episode of the RTE show, the comedian brought his teen daughter around a variety of popular attractions in Dublin, RSVP Live reports.

The hilarious father and daughter pair started their journey at Croke Park for a skyline tour and a look inside the iconic GAA museum.

The Tipperary native, who welcomed his children in Limerick after living there for a number of years, was asked by his daughter if he was "still a Tipperary man?" to which he joked "of course."

The pair then took a selfie as Pat jokingly said: "Beauty and the beast."

After the stadium, Lily and Pat also paid a visit to the Liberties, Kayaked through the River Liffey and enjoyed some 'fine dining' at Leo Burdocks on their 'first holiday after lockdown.'

While Pat said that he "thinks he knows Dublin" quite well, Lily revealed that she "never got to see much" of the city as she spent a lot of time in theatres with her dad.

Lily said: "I had such a good time, it's rare that I get to spend time alone with my dad so I really enjoyed it."

Patt echoed a similar sentiment, adding: "I enjoyed spending the few days up in Dublin, but spending the time with Lily made it even better."

The Irish actor and comedian is known for keeping his family life out of the public eye - meaning their appearance was a rare occurrence.

Failte Ireland shared a photograph of the two from the show on their Twitter account.

Lily shared the same picture on her own Instagram - where her followers quickly complimented the stunning blonde.

One user penned: "Stunners."

Another said: "Ye are as CUTE."

Someone else added: "What a view."
