Irish charity raffling off stunning Dublin townhouse worth €400,000 for price of just a few pints

An animal welfare charity is offering one lucky person the opportunity to win a stunning three-bedroom home in Dublin - all for the price of one €23 raffle ticket.

My Lovely Horse is raffling off the property worth €400,000 in the hopes of raising vital funds for its organisation.

The charity operates in the Leinster and Cork regions to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome equines and other animals as well as assist authorities in moving horses to a place of safety.

It hopes to raise €200,000 from the raffle of the townhouse while also helping people to get a foot on the property ladder.

Located in Royal Canal Park, the house comes fully furnished and the stamp duty and all legal fees will be paid by the host.

The property, which features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living room, will be transferred to the winner completely mortgage-free.

The lucky ticketholder can also access the grounds, which "are impeccable and maintained to an exceptionally high standard", and avail of free parking and free on-site gym membership.

The animal charity is selling tickets for just £20/€23 each, with tickets capped at 40,000 meaning this is the maximum number that can be distributed.

The house will only be awarded to the winner if a minimum of 32,000 tickets are sold.

If less than 32,000 tickets are sold, the winner will receive a cash prize amounting to 50% of the total ticket revenue and the charity will keep the remaining balance.

My Lovely Horse said: "The more tickets you purchase, the more chance you have of winning and the more you will be supporting our incredible charity.

"100% of our revenue share will go directly to our charity and out of these funds, we will ensure that this incredible prize along with all expenses are paid, and the house is transferred to the lucky winner, completely mortgage-free

"This also means that if we meet our target of 40,000 tickets sold, our charity will have earned €200,000."

The competition ends on July 28 or when the last ticket is sold, whichever comes sooner.
