A boy has died in Brazil after being hit by a truck while riding his bike with his sister, it has been reported.
The six-year-old was killed in the tragic incident in the Nova Andradina area in the south of the country on Wednesday night.
Local media reports that the young boy was riding a bike with his 16-year-old sister at the time of the collision.
She was also brought to the emergency room of the regional hospital with head injuries, while the driver of the truck was brought to hospital with shock.
The child had recently moved to the Ivinhema Valley region with his parents a few months ago, according to local news site MS em Foco.
Police are currently investigating the incident, and the status of the injured teenager is not currently known.
