Irish bar lines urinals with picture of Vladimir Putin in message to Russia amid Ukraine invasion

An Irish bar has lined its urinals with a picture of a waving Vladimir Putin - so punters can take aim at his face as they relieve themselves.

The photo, in Raglan Road Irish Bar in Nottingham, UK, has replaced Donald Trump, who was previously in the line of fire.

Raglan Road Irish Bar posted a picture of the new installation on its Instagram on Saturday, March 5 following Russia's continued efforts to invade Ukraine.

The popular pub has a history of putting pictures of world leaders in the loos, with former US President Donald Trump the first to feature, Nottinghamshire Live reported.

Raglan Road said: "Time for Donald Trump to go and now come have a wee on Vladimir Putin in the men's loos."

And the latest addition has caused much amusement on social media.

Professional boxer and WBA world champion Leigh Wood posted a crying laughing emoji along with the hands in the air emoji.

Radio presenter John Holmes posted: "I'll be round. Least I can do."

Gavin Farrell posted "fantastic" with three crying laughing emojis.

Eve Summers posted: "Love it."

Marvin Miller, a photographer, posted "well deserved" with the applause emoji.

Conor MacDonagh, an entrepreneur, posted "better than the Trump one" with a crying laughing emoji.

Two weeks ago, the Russian President was called "Vladdy daddy" on an unofficial Instagram page, as people begged him "don't start WW3" and tell him he's "in a silly goofy mood", the Daily Star reports.

In response to the growing threat of war, people (or possibly bots) on the fan-run Instagram page @vladimir.putin_offical have been leaving very odd comments and demanding the early aggression in Ukraine was halted.

One user stated: "Hey baby let's not fight."

A second person gushed: "Vladdy daddy this isn’t u come on look at me this isn’t u."

"Hey daddy Putin I know you’re in a silly goofy mood but let’s not start WW3," commented a third user.

Another commented: "Hey Vladdy daddy let's not fight over silly thing."

Someone else bluntly said: "My first war kinda nervous."
