Ireland youngster Andrew Omobamidele scored his first goal in senior football but it wasn't enough to stop Norwich falling to a 2-1 loss to Leeds United on Sunday.
The 19-year-old rose highest at the near post to power a header into the far corner of the net in the 58th minute at Carrow Road.
In doing so the Leixlip man became the youngest Irish scorer in the Premier League since Michael Obafemi scored for Southampton against Huddersfield in December 2018.
Omobamidele's goal cancelled out the opener by Leeds' talisman Raphinha, but Norwich were only able to hold onto the lead for two minutes before Rodrigo put the away side ahead once more.
The loss leaves Norwich rooted to the bottom of the table and still looking for their first victory of the season.
It has been a sharp rise for Omobamidele who made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland in September.
