Ireland is in for a stunning weekend of weather with temperatures set to soar in the coming days.
Met Eireann has forecast that temperatures will hit as high as 18C and the sunny weather is set to last into next week.
Most the country is set to be basked in glorious sunshine over the next few days, and forecasters have said that the west and south of Ireland are likely to get the best of the superb weather.
A forecaster said: Friday will be another dry bright day, however there will be more high cloud about with hazy sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, mildest in the west, and again a little cooler near eastern and southern coasts where a moderate east to southeast breeze will persist, the breeze fresh and gusty off the Munster coast.
"High pressure will dominate the weather pattern through the weekend bringing dry and settled conditions.

"Dry with good sunshine on Saturday night for most however it may be a little hazy at times in Leinster. Highest temperatures of 12 to 18 degrees coolest near southern and eastern coasts in mostly moderate easterly breezes, becoming fresh along southern coasts.
"Dry and mostly clear on Saturday night. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees, holding a degree or two warmer near coasts in light to moderate easterly breezes.
"Mostly sunny on Sunday, becoming hazy at times with just some intermittent passing cloud. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees generally, moderate easterly breezes will hold highs at 10 to 13 degrees in eastern and southern coastal counties, pushing into parts of the midland also.
Remaining dry and mostly clear. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees generally in light to moderate easterly or variable breezes.
