With temperatures soaring to the high twenties around Ireland today, the good news keeps coming because conditions are set to stay very warm until Friday.
Met Eireann is expecting daytime temperatures into the high twenties and very humid at night with temperatures staying in the mid to high teens.
However, while the heatwave will continue to sizzle parts of Ireland, there's also a risk that conditions could be spoiled by a few isolated thundery showers
Met Eireann has said: "Another warm week ahead as the heatwave continues with strong sunshine and temperatures widely into the high 20s and possibly 30 Celsius in a few locations. Although on the whole, it’ll be a dry week a few isolated thundery showers could break out today and tomorrow."
As for the next two days, here's what's on the horizon....
Monday night
Tonight will be warm and humid with largely clear skies.
It's set to be cloudier along the northern and southwestern coasts. Patches of mist and fog will develop with temperatures falling no lower than 13 to 17 degrees generally, however, it's set to be colder in north Ulster.
Tuesday morning and afternoon
Another very warm day with widespread sunshine is forecast.
Around the country, it's set to stay dry for most but there is a chance of showers, some heavy or possibly thundery, developing in the evening.
Temperatures will hit highs that range between 24 and 29 degrees generally, cooler in the coastal areas.
Tuesday night
Warm and humid with temperatures not dropping below 14 to 18 degrees generally. Once again, it's set to be colder in north Ulster.
Elsewhere, it will stay dry with long clear spells. Some patches of mist and fog will develop again overnight too.
