The factor 30 may not even cut it this weekend as Ireland is set to be basked in summer sun usually reserved for our European neighbours.
The next few days will see the country sizzle, with daily temperatures hitting at least the mid-20s.
Met Eireann's forecast says that high pressure will build over Ireland over the coming days, bringing mostly dry conditions with increasing amounts of warm sunshine.
In more good news, the mini-heatwave that is caused by the Azores High will carry into the early part of next week too.
Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather predicts that temperatures could even reach 28 degrees in some areas of the country, and he outlined the hottest day ahead and which areas will be warmest.
He told the Irish Mirror: "The sunny spells will develop on Friday, they will become more widespread from the afternoon and they'll get up to 25 degrees.

"It will be a little bit cooler along the coasts but still warm, but the sea breeze will make it feel a little bit more down 20 degrees maybe, so still pleasant.
"It will warm up further on Saturday and Sunday, with the sunny spells more widespread across the country for the weekend.
"Inland temperatures you could 27, possibly even touching 28 degrees, on Saturday.
"The hottest temperatures will be inland, so maybe stations like Oak Park in Carlow, maybe even Shannon could be ones to watch for the highest temperatures.
"But really, it's going to be a nice weekend across most areas, the very far north-west might just have a little bit of cloud and maybe miss out on the warmer temperatures."
Mr O'Reilly said the mercury could rise to 26 or 27 degrees again on Sunday, and even on Monday, the 27-degree heat could still be hitting some areas.
"You're looking at three days there where it's going to be 25 degrees, if not four days," he said.
He anticipates that people will struggle to sleep with the heat still present overnight over the next few days, with fans likely to emerge in bedrooms thanks to the 15-degree temperatures.
People may need to brace themselves for four nights of muggy conditions as the balmy weather is forecast into next week on Tuesday.
"It does look like Tuesday will still be warm, possibly above 25 degrees," Mr O'Reilly added.
"Beyond Tuesday, it's looking very uncertain but it could hold for another day or two, or we could see things starting to deteriorate a little bit."
