Ireland is set for a wet and windy weekend as strong gusts move in from the southwest, picking up later on Friday night.
The north and west of the country will see the worst of the conditions as a cold snap moves in, bringing with it some scattered showers.
A small craft marine warning is in place from Slyne Head to Rossan Point to Malin Head.

However, things are looking up as bright spells will dominate the weekend, with just a few scattered showers developing as the days continue.
A forecaster said Friday will be mainly dry tomorrow for many, "but some wet and windy weather will push into the Northwest Saturday morning and move down across the country.
"It will break up as it does so the southeast will escape most of the rain."
They added: "Latest weather charts show it possibly bring some rain Tuesday into the West with a strong breeze. Details this far out can and will change a little but nothing too serious to worry about."
