Ireland's weather for the next few days is set to be quite erratic with temperatures reaching 21 degrees in some areas while "strong to near gale force" winds will also impact the west coast.
Met Eireann has said that Ireland's weather will be quite erratic with "mixed and changeable" conditions expected this week.
Showers and spells of rain will occur, with some drier and brighter spells too.
However, in terms of temperatures, it's not all bad because it's set to be similar to last week with the mercury reaching the high teens, touching 20 or 21 degrees celsius locally.
As for the best days, Tuesday (highs of 17-20 degrees), Wednesday (17-20 degrees), Friday (16-20 degrees) are expected but the weather will be fickle too.
For example, Thursday is set to see a "very blustery or windy day with sunny spells and heavy showers, especially in the west and northwest" with "strong to near gale force on Atlantic coasts".
On that note, here's what's expected...
Tuesday morning and afternoon
Largely dry apart from a few light showers. The best of the sunny spells will occur during the morning and in the east.
Cloud will gradually increase from the west through the day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
Tuesday night
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a fair amount of dry weather and some patchy light rain or drizzle. The more frequent rain will develop in the west overnight.
Dry for many with clear spells but some patchy rain and drizzle will impact counties on the western and southern coasts.
Cloud will thicken overnight, with more frequent rain arriving in Atlantic coastal counties by dawn. A mild night, with lows of 13 to 15 degrees.
Wednesday morning and afternoon
Cloudy with rain spreading eastwards across the country but clearing in the afternoon. Brighter and drier weather will follow with sunshine and a few showers.
Outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain will move eastwards over the country during the morning and early afternoon.
Brighter, clearer and sunnier conditions with just isolated showers will move into the Atlantic counties by late morning, before gradually spreading elsewhere through the rest of the day.
In terms of the temperatures, highs of 17 to 20 degrees are expected.
Wednesday night
A largely dry evening with long clear spells for most. Cloud and patchy drizzle will develop along Atlantic coasts overnight. Winds will develop into strong and gusty along western and southwestern coasts by dawn.
Thursday
At present, Met Eireann has said: "Current indications suggest low pressure will track just north of Ireland on Thursday, making for a very blustery or windy day with sunny spells and heavy showers, especially in the west and northwest.
"Southwest winds will be strong to near gale force on Atlantic coasts with some high seas here. Inland, southwest winds will be mostly fresh to strong. Maximum temperatures will range 17 to 19 degrees"
Friday
It's expected to be still quite windy on Friday, with sunny spells and scattered showers expected too. The driest, brightest and mildest conditions are set to arrive in the southeast. Highs 16 to 20 degrees.
The weekend
Met Eireann has said that: "Current indications suggest low pressure will dominate with showers or longer spells of rain likely. Temperatures look likely to remain close to where they have been during the week, which are around average."
