The rain will take a day off on Thursday with sunny spells and temperatures soaring as high as 25C across the country.
In what will be a generally terrible week weather wise, we will see one day of respite, according to Met Eireann.
The current wet and windy weather will continue for the next few days before the break on Thursday.
Most of the country will be extremely warm and even get some sun, so you can maybe head to the beach.
But it won't stick around for long with thunder and lightning set to wallop in on Friday before an unsettled weekend.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Thursday will be warmer with sunny spells. It will be mainly dry but a few isolated showers are possible late in the day. Highest temperatures of 18 to 25 degrees, warmest in Leinster with light breezes.

"Thursday night and Friday will see heavy or thundery showers move in over the country from the south affecting mainly eastern coastal counties. It will be warm and muggy with some sunny spells by day too.
"It then looks like turning fresher for the weekend with a more Atlantic regime setting in."
Most of the country is currently being lashed by wind and rain and while it won't be as bad tomorrow, the sun won't be shining unless you are in the south or east of the country.
The forecaster added: "It will be murky, misty and close overnight with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. Rain will become persistent and heavy at times in parts of Munster and the midlands. Minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees generally in light to moderate southerly or variable breezes.
"Mostly cloudy Tuesday with patchy rain and drizzle at times, the best of the drier weather will be in the east and southeast where maximum temperatures will range between 16 and 19 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds. Elsewhere remaining cooler with maximum temperature of 13 to 16 degrees in light to moderate southerly or variable breezes.
"On Tuesday night, there will be further outbreaks of rain and drizzle becoming more patchy. It will be very mild with lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees and very light southerly or variable breezes."
