Ireland will bask in glorious sunshine this weekend as temperatures soar to 26C.
The sizzling heat will bring with it plenty of long sunny spells for the weekend, but some thunder showers may develop on Monday.
Sunday will see sizzling highs of 26C, while Saturday will have to make do with a mere 24C.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Some patches of mist or fog early this morning. These will clear and today will be warm and dry with good sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 19C to 24C degrees and light variable breezes.

"Tonight will be dry with clear spells and a few patches of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures of 8C to 11C.
"Sunday will be warm and largely dry in Leinster, Munster and Connacht. A few showers may develop in Ulster.
"Highest temperatures of 20C to 26C, warmest in the midlands and south Leinster with light variable breezes."
Monday will again be largely dry in parts, mainly in Munster and Connact, but some heavy and thundery showers are expected to move from the east across Leinster and Munster.
It will still be very warm, with temperatures hanging around the mid-twenties again.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be very similar to Sunday, except the odd shower may arrive in the afternoon.
Temperatures on both days are expected to be at 24C and 22C, respectively.
