Ireland will see a big improvement in weather this week as a period of miserable conditions comes to a halt.
But despite a lack of rain being predicted, it won't be all sunshine, despite temperatures remaining warm.
Met Eireann say that it will be largely cloudy, although the news of less rain will be welcome to most.
A forecaster said: "The coming week will bring an improvement in our weather generally, with rainfall amounts fairly low as pressure will be relatively high for much of the week.
"There'll be some bright or sunny spells at times, however, in general there'll be a good deal of cloud around, with some mostly weak weather fronts bringing a little rain and drizzle at times.
"Temperatures will be around average to a little below for much of the week, ranging between 15C and 20C, but with the possibility of brighter, drier and warmer weather over next weekend."

As for this weekend, Saturday will see plenty of rain and drizzle, especially over the southern half of the country.
Ulster will be mostly dry, with national average temperatures of 15C to 18C.
It will be cloudy and misty at night, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, as well as some hill and coastal fog. A few heavier bursts are likely, mainly in the southwest.
Sunday will see cloudy and misty conditions for a time, with outbreaks of light rain throughout the day. There is a chance that this will clear to make way for some brighter weather and sunshine later in the afternoon.
Temperatures ranging from 16C to 21C can be expected, with moderate north to northwest winds.
