Ireland is set to be soaked in the coming days with more rainy conditions hitting the country.
It has managed to stay relatively dry over the last few days however temperatures have been dropping in recent days.
And unfortunately it looks as though some very poor conditions are set to hit in the coming days.
It looks as though the heaviest of the showers will start to hit by Friday however there is hope that temperatures will begin to climb by next week.
And weather experts say that more dry weather can also be expected by the end of the weekend.
A forecaster said: "Today will be rather cloudy and humid with patchy light rain and drizzle, mainly over the west and north but sinking a little further south and east at times too. Highest temperatures will range from 15 degrees in the northwest to a mild 20 degrees in the southeast with the best of the sunny spells there, in a moderate, occasionally gusty, northwest wind.
"Wednesday will be another largely cloudy day with patchy rain and drizzle, primarily over the northern half of the country. Later in the afternoon and into the evening, some sunny spells will break through ahead of more general rain moving in from the southwest over much of Munster. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees generally, but slightly cooler in the northwest, in light to moderate westerly breezes.

"A largely cloudy day though there will be occasional sunny spells on Thursday. Light outbreaks of rain will gradually clear through the day though some patches of drizzle will linger. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in mainly light variable breezes.
"A mainly Thursday dry night to start but more persistent rain will move into the southwest towards dawn. Mild with temperatures not falling below 12 to 14 degrees in light breezes.
"A wet day with outbreaks of rain extending to all areas by the afternoon on Friday, turning heavy at times, especially in the south and west. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds, turning fresher on exposed coasts.
"On Saturday showers with longer spells of rain will feed up from the south through the day, turning heavy in places. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds.
"Showers or longer spells of rain will continue through the day on Sunday, heavy at times with the risk of isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees in light northeasterly or variable breezes.
"Becoming more settled into next week with a good deal of dry weather. Temperatures will pick up with highs widely in the low twenties."
