Ireland v Bulgaria: Date, time, TV channel and more for the Nations League clash

Stephen Kenny is set to take charge of Ireland for the first time this week as they travel to Bulgaria for the Uefa Nations League.

With a trip to Slovakia for a crucial Euro 2020 playoff on the horizon, Kenny has named a youthful Ireland squad as he looks to put his stamp on the Boys in Green.

With the squad training in Dublin since Sunday, the former U21 manager will look to three points ahead of a clash with Finland next week.

The game is set to be played in Sofia on Thursday, September 3.

What time is kick-off?

The game will get underway at 7:45 pm Irish time.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports Football, with coverage beginning at 7 pm Irish time.

Virgin Media One will show deferred coverage of the clash at 11 pm, as well as highlights at 10 pm.

Under-21 starlets Jayson Molumby, Dara O'Shea and Adam Idah could make their senior debuts, but Millwall striker Troy Parrott has been ruled out with a muscle injury - Sean Maguire comes in his place.

James McCarthy looks to have shaken off injury and could make his first Boys in Green appearance since 2016.
