Ireland are under orders to cut out the middle men as they look to put the shackles on Christian Eriksen.
The unsettled Tottenham ace showed the Boys in Green the full extent of his powers in the World Cup playoff second-leg.
Eriksen smashed a hat-trick as the Danes crushed Ireland’s dreams of reaching the World Cup in Russia.
But his effectiveness was curbed in last year’s Nations League meetings that both ended 0-0.

McCarthy has told his players not to lose sight of the Danish supporting cast around leading man Eriksen as they too can pack a punch.
McCarthy said last night: “Thomas Delaney gets them playing and somebody has to give Eriksen the ball.
“If he's playing in behind the striker I'm not so sure he wants to go looking for it.
“But if he can get it in the right areas, he's a real problem. We have to deal with Poulsen coming in at the far post as well, he's a real threat.
“Big Jorgensen up front is a powerful guy - they’re just a good team.”
