Ireland Under-17s and Under-19s learn Euro qualifier opponents

Ireland's Under-17s will face Scotland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in March as part of the Elite Round of qualifiers for the 2020 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Colin O’Brien’s team have to head to Scotland as they look for a fourth consecutive finals qualification for next Summer's tournament.

The draw, hosted in Nyon, was also made for the 2021 Qualifying Round with Ireland to host Slovakia, Northern Ireland and Estonia next October.

Tom Mohan’s Under-19s will also host Qualifying Round games next November against Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Estonia.

And Mohan's men also found out their round 1 opponents for the new Nations League-style UEFA European Under-19 2020-2022 Championship.

They face the Netherlands, Turkey and Croatia in Group A1 in Turkey, with games taking place in November as well.

All venues for the fixtures that were drawn today will be announced shortly.
