Ireland U17 international Mipo Odubeko turns down Manchester United contract

Republic of Ireland under-17 international striker Mipo Odubeko has turned down a new contract offer at Manchester United.

Odubeko bagged 35 goals as he lit up the Red Devils' academy last season but is leaving the club to explore other options.

The Mail Online report that the youngster is on the radar of Feyenoord, Bayern Munich and Genoa.

It is believed that Newcastle and Burnley are also in the hunt for Odubeko who is said to have had his head turned by more lucrative offers.

The 16-year-old was regarded as one of the most promising young talents for United who signed him from neighbours Manchester City.

Odubeko started his career at Crumlin United before a year at St Joseph's Boys club where he earned a move to England.

The teen first played for the Republic of Ireland at under-15 level and was part of their team at the 2017 Victory Shield.
