James Collins will make his first competitive start for Ireland when they take on Georgia in a Euro 2020 qualifier in Tbilisi this afternoon.
The other changes from the team that drew with Switzerland sees Matt Doherty come in for the suspended Enda Stevens at left-back and John Egan come into centre-back.
Mick McCarthy has resisted springing 19-year-old Brighton Aaron Connolly, a late call-up to the senior squad after his Premier League brace, on from the start. But Connolly could see some action from a bench that also includes Shamrock Rovers midfielder Jack Byrne.
Shane Duffy, as his manager confirmed yesterday, has made a great recovery from injury and will start at the heart of the Irish defence alongside Sheffiled United's Egan.
The match is set to get underway at 2pm as Ireland look to extend their lead at the top of Group D before Denmark host Switzerland this evening.
Ireland: Randolph; Coleman, Duffy, Egan, Doherty; Hendrick, Whelan, Hourihane; Robinson, Collins, McClean.
