Ireland team named for Euro 2020 qualifier with Denmark

Mick McCarthy has stuck to type and named the same starting XI from the victory over Georgia for this evening's Euro 2020 qualifier against Denmark in Copenhagen.

Once again there is no place in the starting lineup for Matt Doherty with captain Seamus Coleman at right-back.

Coleman joins Enda Stevens, Richard Keogh and Shane Duffy in the Irish defence.

A three man midfield of Glenn Whelan, Conor Hourihane and Jeff Hendrick will be supported out wide by James McClean and Robbie Brady.

And David McGoldrick is once again the lone striker up for the Boys in Green who are playing a fifth competitive game against Denmark in 19 months.

Kick-off at the Parken Stadium is at 7.45pm.

REP OF IRELAND team: Randolph; Coleman, Duffy, Keogh, Stevens; Hendrick, Whelan, Hourihane; Brady, McGoldrick, McClean.
