Troy Parrott has joined Ipswich Town on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.
The Republic of Ireland striker, 18, had signed for Millwall at the start of the campaign and was due to stay until the summer.
But on Saturday, Spurs cut short that deal with the Championship outfit after 14 appearances without a goal.
Parrott will hope to rediscover his scoring touch in League One and trained with his new team-mates for the first time today.
Ipswich sit in 11th position in League One and the Dubliner could make his debut at home to Blackpool on Saturday.
I'm really happy to be here," said Parrott. "There are some good players here and I'm looking forward to the second half of the season.
"It was great to get out for my first training session this morning and the lads gave me a really nice welcome.
"I love a challenge and I want to be part of something. I'm excited to get going and I want to score some goals for this club."
Parrott added: "I will work hard for the team and I'm ready to play. I played last weekend so I'm feeling good in terms of match sharpness and I can't wait to get started."
Speaking last week, Ireland Under-21 boss Jim Crawford suggested a run of goals would do Parrott the world of good.
Crawford said: “At the minute Troy needs a goal. He’s still playing well and his general play is good but I think he just needs a goal to kick on.
“From working with Troy at close quarters, he’s a fantastic talent. He’s an unbelievable finisher and you have got to give him time so he can listen to his coaches and develop to his full potential.”
