Ireland striker Amber Barrett has signed for one of Germany's most successful clubs.
The Donegal native made the decision at the end of last season to leave Koln and had options in England and Italy.
However, she chose to remain in Germany and on Thursday night her switch to Turbine Potsdam was confirmed.
One of the most decorated sides in German football, with six Frauen-Bundesliga titles and two Champions League crowns, the Brandenburg-based club finished fourth last season.
Barrett (26) has been capped 30 times for Ireland and is expected to feature in September’s crucial World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Slovakia.
The home game against Finland at Tallaght Stadium earlier this week was declared a sell-out, with all 7,500 tickets snapped up.
